INSPIRE Research Group
INSPIRE research group, led by Dr. Daniel Takabi, in the College of Arts & Sciences conducts research on topics related to the security and privacy of emerging paradigms. The goal of the INSPIRE group is to make significant impact through innovative research projects and hands-on training programs in security and privacy. With this goal in mind, the group is currently running several projects centered around various topics that include trustworthy AI, advanced access control, privacy enhancing technologies, insider threat, cyber deception, and usable security and privacy.
Dr. Zhipeng Cai's Research Group
The research group led by Dr. Zhipeng Cai, in the Department of Computer Science is focused on cybersecurity, privacy, networking and big data.
Dr. Wei Li's Research Group
The research group led by Dr. Wei (Lisa) Li, in the Department of Computer Science is focused on the areas of security and privacy for the Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems, secure and privacy-aware computing, big data and game theory.
Dr. Yingshu Li's Research Group
The research group led by Dr. Yingshu Li, in the Department of Computer Science is focused on the areas of privacy-aware computing, management of big sensory data, internet of things, social networks, and wireless networking.
Dr. Xiaojun Cao's Research Group
The research group led by Dr. Xiaojun (Matt), in the Department of Computer Science is focused on the areas of software-defined networks, network function virtualization, optical networking, BigData networks, intelligent sensing and applications in secure cyber-physical systems and cybersecurity.
Dr. Ashwin Ashok's Research Group
The research group led by Dr. Ashwin Ashok, in the Department of Computer Science is focused on the areas of cybersecurity and privacy including smart-homes privacy and empirical cyberattack modeling.
